GravyTram's 29th Annual Freeee Floral Frock Fringe Fest! Sunday November 8th @ Smith’s Alternative
A laid back afternoon of live music, poetry, circus & frivolity. Outside and free!
The Frock began in the 90s as a protest to Floriade's entry fee (it became free from 2001), as a day-long buskathon outside the gate. Every Spring we throw this party to celbrate the warmth returning. Totally Frockin MC Sam Floyd joined in 2024 as a pretense to wear dresses and spend all his money at Vinnies.

A monthly folk club with a feature act and a pre-booked blackboard concert for other performers.
Country Music Association of Canberra (CMAC)
A monthly country-music walk-ups where singers and musicians can perform in front of an audience.
Canberra Blues Society
Runs regular blues jams and jam workshops. A useful option for guitarists, vocalists and songwriters who want to develop ensemble skills, meet other musicians and get on stage.
